It's no secret that I Love cookies. (In all honesty, who doesn't?) I became a cookie snob when I was about 7 years old...right after my first batch of homemade chocolate chip cookies were lovingly removed from the oven. Since then, my taste-buds will only dance for cookies that are lush with natural, made-from-scratch, taste and texture. Nothing compares to homemade cookies.
So it was a lovely, delicious, wonderful, fabulous, surprise when Michael, of Bellevue Washington's Pinckney Cookie Cafe, sent me a box containing his 4 signature chocolate chip cookies.
Michael knows his baked goods. Each variety is as decadent as the cookies I've made at home!

Here is a round-up of what the Pinckney Cookie Cafe has to offer.
1: The Coco (my personal favourite), is a scrumptious oatmeal chocolate chip cookie with coconut and a subtle hint of orange.
2: The Pinckney Original is an intense chocolate chip cookie loaded with walnuts and coconut.
3: The Bing Bling (love the name!), is a perky chocolate chip cookie that's bursting with tart Bing cherries, and yes, coconut!
4: The Classic is exactly that, a classic. A thick, chewy, soft, chocolate chip cookie.

There is something so much more fulfilling about food that's made with ingredients you can actually pronounce. I love knowing that the cookies I'm enjoying contain Belgian chocolate, pure brown sugar, and cage free eggs!
I can't say enough about Michale's cookies. Words such as "delicious" and "rich," are not potent enough...it's like calling the ocean "pretty." Some things you just have to experience first hand. And with Valentine's Day on the way, I can't think of a better way to show someone how much you care than with some cookie love. For more information, please check out the Pinckney Cookie Cafe site!
Speaking of Valentine's Day, I think it's time for me to take down the holiday decorations. o_O
