Sometimes last minute decisions can actually turn out quite well. Take for example these brownies and disregard all those impulse clothing purchases I made which still hang in the closet with their angry looking tags still hanging from them like monetary albatrosses.

It's a sad day when one cannot find a stash of nuts in my cupboards. It could even be considered an omen, though I happened to love black cats, ravens, and walking under ladders to spite fate. The truth is my cash is wiped out.

The original recipe for these cookies from allrecipes has been so raved about and highly rated by everyone that I finally decided to try it. My results didn't look anything like the cookies pictured in the post but I can see why people are crazy about them!

For as much as I dislike the cold and snow, I must admit that when I woke up this morning to a crystallized, fluffy white fantasy land, it made me feel wonderful.

I really had a hard time coming up with a name for these bars because there are so many ingredients inside which should be stated in the title (I need to come up with a better naming system.) The more I read it, the more I realize that it sounds very long and a bit annoying.

It feels good to be back into the swing things when it comes to Tuesdays with Dorie. My posts were few and far between last month due to computer issues and lack of money. There were some gorgeous looking and expensive (as far as ingredients) desserts which I hated to miss but plan on trying as soon as the season is over and I can actually save some extra money for supplies.

Have you ever had such an intense craving for dark chocolate anything that it actually puts you in a bad mood until you did something about it? When this happens I usually will pacify the evil sirens call with a small square from my 'stash' of chocolate. But sometimes, especially when I am stressed, One square is just a drop in the ocean of my deep craving.
